What is Hustle?

Hustle is doing something that everyone is absolutely certain can’t be done.

Hustle is getting commitment because you got there first, or stayed with it after everyone else gave up.

Hustle is shoe leather and elbow grease and sweat and missing lunch.

Hustle is getting the prospects to say “YES” after they have said “NO” twenty times.

Hustle is the sheer joy of winning.

Hustle is being the sorest loser in town.

Hustle is living each moment by being in the center of a “HAPPENING.”

Hustle is heaven if you’re a hustler.

Hustle is hell if you’re not.

THIS ORGANIZATION HAS HUSTLE!!!!!

TRUST IN YOURSELF, by Rose Wilcox-Sliemers

Don’t ever be discouraged
Or think your goal is blocked.
For every closed door that you meet
Has got to have a lock.

Don’t say, I just can’t do it
Or feel it can’t be done;
For a battle must be fought,
Before it can be won.

Don’t be depressed or saddened,
Or feel there is no need;
For there can be no harvest
Unless you plant the seed.

Think good, and good will follow,
Your life’s goal you will win,
If you trust in yourself and in your dreams,
And faith in the power within.

The secret of getting things done is: DO IT NOW! , By Success Unlimited

As long as you live, never say to yourself “DO IT NOW!” unless you immediately follow through with desirable action.

Now is the time to act.

Now is the time to be happy.

Thoughts to Ponder, by E.T. Gurney

People are unreasonable, illogical, self-centered.
Love them anyway.
If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish motives.
Do good anyway.
If you are successful, you will win false friends and real enemies.
Try to be successful anyway.
The good you do will be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.
Honesty and frankness will make you vulnerable.
Be honest and frank anyway.
People favor the underdog, but they chum up to the top dog.
Fight for the underdog anyway.
What you spend years building can be destroyed overnight.
Build anyway.
Give the world the best you have and chances are you will get kicked in the teeth.
Give it anyway.

When I got cut from the varsity team as a sophomore in high school, I learned something.  I knew I never wanted to feel that bad again.  I never wanted to have that taste in my mouth, that hole in my stomach, so I set a goal of becoming a starter on the varsity.

10 STEPS TOWARD A WONDERFUL LIFE

1.    WAKE UP EARLY……Starting your day early will eliminate the stress caused by
                                                rushing.

2.     ARRIVE EARLY……...Regardless if you have an appointment, meeting or a job to
go to, arriving early will allow you time to prepare yourself
                                                for the business at hand.

3.    EXERCISE DAILY……It is no secret, “exercising is not only good for you
                                                physically, but mentally too.”

4.    SCHEDULE YOUR DAY….This will allow you to manage your time, which equals
your life.  Include in it time to relax and engulf yourself
with pleasant thoughts and positive thinking.

5,    BE CORDIAL…………..Be friendly and be the first to say hello.  It could be that
very person who remembered your smile and kindness
and will help you  in your time of need.

6.    FORGIVE……………….There is no greater burden than that of, “hate and
unforgiveness.”  Sometimes there is no excuse, but there is
always a reason why people are the way they are.  Get to
know those reasons and you will find it easier to forgive.

7.    HONESTY…………….. Be honest with yourself and others.  A lie requires a lie to
survive.  I have never heard nor seen a lie leave home and
not return.  The truth will go forward forever.

8.    BUILD CONFIDENCE..Start out with small achievable goals and build from there.
replace I can’t with I can.  If you tell yourself, “I am going
to have a bad day”, chances are, you probably will.

9.    PROBLEM SOLVE……Every problem is born, thus rendering a solution.  I like to
call a problem, “an obstacle”.  We all have them (some
more than others).  Go back to the embryonic stage of the
obstacle.  Not only will you find out how to prevent them,
                                                but, “VIOLA”, there’s the solution.

10.  SO SOMETHING THAT WILL ENHANCE YOUR LIFE EMOTIONALLY,
SPIRITUALLY, AND FINANCIALLY.  THEN, PASS YOUR BLESSINGS ONTO
       OTHERS.

Your Attitude Determines Your Income - The Brian Tracy Newsletter

Would you like to double or triple your income in less than a year?  Are you ready to experience a quantum leap in personal performance that can move you into the top 5% of salespeople in your industry?

In training professionals around the world and in every industry, we have found that virtually anyone, regardless of age, experience, education, grades, contacts or field, can join the top money-makers in selling if they are willing to apply a proven, tested success system.

Extensive research into sales performance proves over and over that sales success is 85% personality and 15% training and experience.  What takes place in your mind – how you think and feel about yourself – determines your income more than any other factor.  “You are not what you think you are, but what you think you are.”

This Law of Correspondence says that your outer material world is merely a reflection of your inner mental world.

Change your mind about yourself!

The fastest way to improve your performance and increase your income is to change your mind about yourself.  As you revise and upgrade your beliefs about yourself and your abilities, your outer world will change to correspond with the “new you.”  You will become a peak performer on the outside as you become a peak performer on the inside.

Success Tips

“Commit yourself to a life of ongoing personal development.

You can become anything you want if you continue to develop yourself through reading, listening to audiotapes, CD’s, DVD’s, online courses, workshops, webinars, and seminars.  Reading one book per week in your chosen field will make y ou one of the most competent people of your generation.  All leaders are readers.

Remember, that the secret of success is making a habit of doing the things that failures don’t like to do.

The choice is up to you.  You can reach the stars in your career if you are willing to set exciting goals and then go to work to make your dreams come true.

Some people make up excuses like, I don’t have the extra money to buy a book, I don’t have the time or I don’t like reading.  Stop fooling yourself.  If you don’t have any money, you can check out books for reading at local library.  If you don’t have time, you can learn how to organize your time more effectively by setting daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals.  Make time for yourself and your family by scheduling your time and focusing on top priorities.  I don’t like to read…is an excuse.

Just remember this…a man who won’t read has no advantage over a man who cannot read.  A smart man will improve his knowledge base and a foolish man will want to stay ignorant.

Who is your Customer? - The Brian Tracy Newsletter

Every man and woman who has ever contributed to, or made a lasting impression on society has done so by focusing on service to others in their personal and professional lives.  This focus on outward contribution, on results measured in terms of customer satisfaction is the high road to executive effectiveness.
Everyone likes to deal with a company where the people really care about t heir customers.  Ask yourself every day, “What can I do to increase the value of my service to my customers?

Remember, your customer is the person who will use the result of your work.  That might be your boss, your staff, another department, but everyone has a customer.

You will always be paid in direct proportion to the value of your contribution to others – as they define it.  Do something every day to learn and grow.  If you are focused on serving others, you must ultimately achieve the success you desire.
